We’re a fiercely loyal group of professionals focused on you.

Meet your team.

Our firm at a glance.

In 2016, we started an independent practice from the ground up after over a decade working at a large firm. Our goal? Find a way to put you, your values and your goals at the center of our work. Today, we bring our collective knowledge, extensive experience, and more focused attention on you.

Our name says it all.

The red-crowned crane is a bird that emanates a particular uniqueness. It has a patch of red on its head, it’s endangered, and it’s been known to symbolize endurance and allegiance.

Just like the red crane, a partnership with our firm is one of loyalty, rarity and longevity.

Loyalty

We’re loyal.

We take the initiative to bring in other professionals that you may need, conduct in-depth research to educate you on all of your options — and stretch our minds to help you succeed.
Approach

Our approach is personalized.

With our innate sense of curiosity and care, no problem is too complex, and no challenge too personal or peculiar. We’re here to listen openly and apply our knowledge, drive and expertise to guide you forward.

Results

The results are long-lasting.

Our solutions are designed to help you build a strong financial foundation that endures. We are your financial partners, and we’re here to work tirelessly to offer you a return on your investments throughout your lifetime and beyond.

This is guidance that makes an impact on your life.

This is Red Crane Wealth Management.

Your team is an introspective, creative and curious bunch.

Helping you gain clarity and confidence around your wealth is at the heart of what I do. I work closely with my clients to understand the goals they have for their lives, providing personalized guidance to move them closer to their definition of success.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, I also bring to my role dynamic experience and education. I earned my B.S. in business economics with an emphasis in accounting at University of California at Santa Barbara. In 2005, I became an advisor and then became a CFP® professional in 2012.

I grew up in San Francisco where I currently live with my wife, Claire, and our two children, Emily and Ethan. We enjoy dining out and traveling — Scotland and Ireland are the next places I hope to visit. In my free time, you can also find me listening to an audio book or podcast.

As a wealth manager, I help my clients plan for their financial future and prepare for big life events. I earned my B.S. in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly SLO. In 2005, I became an advisor, then I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2012. I am also a member of FPA.

I’m a Bay Area native, and the majority of my free time is spent with my wife, Stephanie who is a first grade teacher, and my two children, Ben (7) and Emelia (5). As an Eagle Scout, I love being outdoors and scouting with Ben, along with camping, backpacking, and riding dirt bikes. When I’m not enjoying nature outside, you'll find me drinking too much coffee and trying to improve on my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Working side-by-side with clients, I create personalized financial roadmaps that move my clients towards their unique goals. I graduated from University of California at Davis with my degree in rhetoric and communications. In 2004, I became an advisor, and in 2012 I became a CFP® professional. I am also a member of the San Francisco chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

I became an advisor so that I could help others and uncover the mystery around finances and financial planning. I enjoy meeting and getting to know my clients, their motivations and their experiences as we build a relationship. Teaching others brings me joy, and financial planning facilitates the marriage of both worlds.

As a San Francisco native, I was born and raised in the Mission. Outside of the office, I spend my time as a dog volunteer with SF Animal Control Center. I also served as a mentor through YMCA’s Reach & Rise program. I enjoy bicycling with friends around town or in the Marin headlands, golfing in Oahu (although looking for my ball in the bushes may not be considered golfing), snowboarding in Tahoe, and hunting around SF for vegan pastries. I like to laugh and have great appreciation for quick wit, sarcasm and satire. I strive to leave my comfort zone regularly in an effort to grow, understand and improve as a person.
